Who we are

Teddie, LLC makes Teddie, software that tutoring companies use to run their business. Each tutoring company decides what information it puts into Teddie about its families, students and staff; Teddie handles that information on the company's behalf and only to provide the service.

Google user data

Sign in with Google. People may sign in to Teddie with their Google account instead of an emailed code. We receive only their name and email address and use them only to identify them and let them sign in.

Calendar and Meet. A tutoring company can connect its own Google account. Teddie then creates a lesson calendar for each of the company's tutors in that account, shares it with the tutor, adds, moves and removes lesson events on it, and creates Google Meet rooms for online lessons. Teddie only manages calendars and rooms it created; it does not read or change any other calendar. The access tokens are stored encrypted, and the company can disconnect at any time.

Limited Use. Teddie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models. People can read it only to provide or secure the service, with consent, or where the law requires.
